What is Teach California Charters?
Our Late Application Deadline is Monday, July 28th - Apply today!
Teach California Charters is a consortium of charter schools and networks throughout California, organized to recruit and select outstanding teachers for positions in the Bay Area and Los Angeles. We expect to place at least 100 teachers within the participating charter school networks for the 2008-2009 school year.
These networks include the Alliance for College-Ready Public Schools, Aspire Public Schools, Green Dot Public Schools, Inner City Education Foundation, KIPP Schools, and Leadership Public Schools. Although these charter schools and the schools within each network are separate and independent of each other, candidates may complete one online application to be considered for teaching vacancies at any of the 40 participating schools in these networks.
Teach California Charters is looking for the best credentialed teachers to join our movement. Our teachers will join a committed community of educators who will bring their knowledge, experience, and drive to ensure that all students achieve rigorous academic goals and are prepared for successful futures in college and beyond.

Teach California Charters candidates also benefit from a streamlined application and interview process. Completing the Teach California Charters application begins the interview process for any of our collaborating charter schools in the Los Angeles and Bay Areas, and is a required component of our application process for all of our schools. Make an impact where the need and opportunities are great.
Salary and benefits are competitive based on years of teaching experience, among other factors in your background, and compare favorably to other public school teacher salaries in the areas surrounding each school. For more information, visit our Salary and Benefits page.
